Vardon Grip(or grip overlapping):

The Vardon grip-also called “overlapping grip” or “grip Vardon overlap”-is the method of maintaining the golf club which is the most popular among professional golfers. This technique of taking is named after the great Harry Vardon, who popularized it at the end of the 19th/early 20th century.
To use the Vardon Grip, a right-handed golfer must:
Place the small finger of your right hand between the forefinger and the major of your left hand, overlapping these fingers.
The thumb of your left hand should fit in the line of life of your right hand.
For left-handed, the small finger of the left hand covers the forefinger of the right hand and settles in the space between the index and the major.

V Inverted: Drawing formed by the thumb and forefinger of each hand when a player looks at his grip at the address.
