Pedaling In Tozeur, See the World Differently
Tozeur is a famous city because of the fabulous troglodyte houses. Basically, a big hole dug into the ground that people have made houses in the walls of. They became known worldwide because like a lot of things in Tunisia, they were used as shooting places for Star Wars and there were lots of billboards around, intended for all tourists. As it was, we were still the only tourists and so we had a number of people offering to guide us around. It was a pretty nice place, and R wanted to stay for another day, which I said I should, but as neither HS nor I wanted him to decide to continue with us.
