Golf d’Aro – Mas Nou is surrounded by olive trees, cork oaks and pines, and has two large lakes as well. The player has to deal with a variety of holes, with doglegs, different elevation changes and some narrow fairways, where the accuracy of the start is mandatory. Holes par 3 are quite demanding and can easily damage your scort.
Golf d’Aro was awarded in 1992 by the European Golf Course Architects Association as the best design in Europe. It hosted the Martini Open in 1990, the Catalonia Open in 1992 and the Catalonia Ladies Masters in 2006.
