TOUR 8 Days / 7 Nights
This tour allows you to discover the history of ancient Tunisia thanks to it’s archaeological sites.
Day 1:
• Arrival at Tunis Carthage airport.
• Transfer to hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 2:
• Departure from the hotel to the National Museum of Bardo (visit the Punic, Roman, Arab and Muslim departements …).
• Discovering the Medina of Tunis and its traditional souks.
• Lunch and visit Carthage (Punic Port, Antoninus public Baths, the Coliseum, Byrsa hill …).
• Walk through the picturesque village of Sidi Bou Said.
• Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 3:
• Breakfast and departure to Dougga.
• Visit the archaeological site of dougga.
• Lunch at the hotel.
• Continuing to Bulla Regia.
• Visit the Roman remains and departure to Tabarka / Ain Draham.
• Dinner and overnight.
Day 4:
• Breakfast and departure to Makthar.
• Visit the local museum (fine collection of inscriptions and funerare stone”stele”).
• Visit the ancient Maktaris: Site Tour (triumphal arch, Tophet, remains of the Numidian wall, the megalithic tombs and the baths).
• Continuing to Sbeitla.
• Arrival at Sbeitla, visit the archaeological site, triumphal arch, temple, forum, baptistery.
• Continuing to Kairouan, Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
5th Day:
• Breakfast and departure to Kairouan.
• Visit the Grand Mosque, the Mausoleum of the Barber, Aghlabites Basins, Bir Baruta and Medina.
• Lunch and departure to Eljem. Visit the Roman amphitheater.
• Continuing to Monastir, dinner and overnight at hotel in Monastir / Sousse.
6th day:
• Breakfast. Visit the museum
• Continuing to Monastir, visit the Mausoleum and Ribat Bourguiba.
• Lunch and departure to Thuburbo Majus.
• Continuing to Zaghouan, visit the Temple of Water.
• Departure to Hammamet, installation, dinner and overnight at the hotel.
7th Day:
• Free day 🙁 visit Nabeul pottery center, visit the fishing port Kelibia, the archeological site of Kerkaouen and the caves of El Haouaria) Optional.
8th Day:
• Breakfast and departure.
• Transfer to the Airport Tunis Carthage.
