Sand Wedge: Club to get the ball from the sand.
Score: Number of moves to complete a course.
Scorecard: it is a Card to monitor and record the results of a quartet. The scorecard shows normally the local rules of land.

SSJ: Scratch Score of the day. Depending on climatic conditions during a competition amateur, can change by one or two points. In general, the SSJ is modified according to the overall average performance of all competitors.
SSS: Standard Scratch Score. In normal weather conditions, score to be performed on the course to be in the par.
Stableford: Form of competition against the par, where pars are enhanced according to the index of course. A net par = 2 points, a net bogey= 1 point. More then that the players will have no points and can pick up he’s ball before the end of the hole. A player playing his handicap mark 36 points net.
Stance: Position of the feet of a player when he begins to address.
Stray ball: May be searched for five minutes. More then that, the player is penalized one point less and must play another ball from the last location.
String: Type of competition that involves a string.
Stroke Play: Formula game where all shots is counted, the winner is the player who has achieved the lowest score over 18 holes.
Sudden Death: Form of play-off where the players are tie till one of them wins a hole.
Sway: Moving a body part prevented from pivoting on an axis stable.
Sweetspot: Ideal impact area in the center of the club head.
Swing: Movement of the club to its full extent, the rise, impact, to the end of the curve.
