Our opinion:
This second generation hotel remains a nice hotel. It offers a lot of space around its magnificent swimming pool of 1600 m² and its Thalasso center is a reference. Remains only the rooms to the decoration. You will benefit from the proximity of Mahdia, (6 Km). It should be remembered that Mahdia is one of the country’s best preserved historic cities (fortified city).
Presentation:
Located in the preserved site of Mahdia not far from many ancient sites and the lively city center at 6 Km, the hotel Mahdia Palace Thalassa & Golf Renowned for its gigantic swimming pool of 1600 m² offers great comfort and friendliness. A good level of equipment allows you to combine rest and sports activities. The hotel has a 9-hole golf course and a thalassotherapy center (2500 m²) offering a wide variety of cures.
Situation:
Hotel Mahdia Palace Thalassa & Golf is 6 Km from the small port of Mahdia. The hotel is on a preserved site, bordering the sea with direct access to the beach. The beach of the Bay of Mahdia is continuous on 12 Km from north to south (Cap Mahdia). Transfer from Tunis Airport: 2 h 30 (190 km)/from Monastir airport: approx. 45 mn (54 km).

The 437 standard rooms (of which 100 are communicating) are all equipped with air-conditioning, T.V. satellite, direct telephone service, safe, mini fridge, bathroom with hairdryer and separate toilet, possibility of sea view (in Supplement). The Mahdia Palace also has 4 junior suites (Ambassador Suites and Presidential Suites on request), featuring a terrace with a superb view of the swimming pool and the sea. Capacity Suites: Max. 2 adults or 1 adult + 1 child.

Half-board formula. Meals are served in the form of buffets. The main restaurant (Monastir) offers an American buffet for breakfast, and varied buffets for your meals according to several themes. A la carte restaurant (Layali El Andalus) offers a wide choice of local and international dishes. For light formulas The Coffee Shop (Sfax) will serve you a variety of grills. The Swimming pool Restaurant offers pizzas, grills, fresh fish, pasta and various beverages. 5 bars: the “Pool Bar”, the “Beach Bar”, the 24-hour Lobby bar, the “American Bar”, the “Moorish Cafe”.

Restaurant Monastir: Refined decor with a good taste, this restaurant offers a buffet breakfast a sumptuous dinner on time (Tunisian, Italian, International etc. ..).
Restaurant Layali El Andalusian: In a large setting, this restaurant offers a menu with a map with a large selection of international cuisines and local specialties. All these specialties are prepared with great care and taste.
Restaurant Sfax: Open 24 hours and located in an open area at the Commercial gallery offers light dishes as well as a wide variety of grilled dishes and beverages.
Snack Restaurant: Located between the pool and the beach this rest.
