Adopt a routine
A routine is the fact of following the same procedure before each shot. It will help you to get into a bubble of concentration in which it will be easier for you to focus on your goal. You just have to train a bit to adopt a fast and efficient routine. It should not last too long because you have 40 seconds to hit your ball.
Here is an example of a routine that you could use to progress on the course:
Determine your goal
Take the distance
Choose the adapted club
Take a first try
Aim
Put yourself at the address
hit
The most important thing is to proceed in the same way each time. It must not be interrupted and must be performed at the same time during the entire course (from the test shot).
